Level 1 Water Rationing-The City of Shawnee is back on Level 1 until further notice.

In accordance with the City's Drought Management Plan (DMP), Level 1 Mandatory Restrictions for water use are now in effect in the City of Shawnee. <br>

Odd addresses can water between the hours of 6:00 pm on Monday to 10:00 am on Tuesday and 6:00 pm on Thursday to 10:00 am on Friday.<br>
Even addresses can water between the hours of 6:00 pm on Tuesday to 10:00 am on Wednesday and 6:00 pm on Friday to 10:00 am on Saturday.<br>

Although failure to comply with watering restrictions is punishable by a fine, the City will first seek compliance through public education. <br>

The City would like to emphasize that these watering restrictions are due to limitations of the City's water treatment plant and not a shortage of water supply. Twin Lakes and Wes Watkins continue to operate at normal pool levels. <br>
