Free trees for Shawnee
Shawnee residents are invited to register for free trees to be given away in Shawnee on April 2nd from 10am to 2pm. This is part of the Oklahoma Community Tree Recovery campaign, a partnership of the Tree Bank Foundation, Arbor Day Foundation and Oklahoma Forestry Services, to help regain the tree canopy lost in the 2013 tornado. We have 400 sawtooth oaks and 100 shantung maples. When registering, please keep in mind that the oaks need at least 20 feet distance from your home and other trees- please request only what your property has room to support.

All recipients must register for the trees and provide proof of residency (drivers license, utility bill, etc.) when they pick up their trees on April 2nd.
