City Hall Offices Closed for Thanksgiving 11/27 - 11/28

City Hall and associated offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday 11/27 and Friday 11/28. Have a save and thankful holiday!

A Salute to Veterans at OBU

On Tuesday November 11th at 7:30 pm, OBU's Division of Music for the first time will present "A Salute to Veterans" musical performance. The performance will be held in the Raley Chapel Yarborough Auditorium and will feture music from the time of each war starting with the Civil War through Iraq and Afghanistan.The performance is free and all Veterans and families are encouraged to attend.

Veterans Day service

At 11:00 am Tuesday November 11th there will be a short Veterans Day service at the Veterans Memorial on Broadway Street next to the DA's office. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Parade Information

This year, the Christmas Parade is organized by Safe Events For Families (the organization that hosts the popular Boo-on-Bell event). Please direct all inquiries to SEFF as the City of Shawnee will not be coordinating Parade entries or lineup. <br>
