The City is comprised of six wards and after each Federal Census, we are required to review the population of each ward to ensure that the population distribution between wards is substantially equal. Please see the documents below for an overview of the analysis that was completed and for a detailed review of proposed changes.
The Shawnee City Commission will consider an ordinance to amend the ward boundaries at their meeting on March 20, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Shawnee City Hall, Commission Chambers, 16 W. 9th, Shawnee, OK.
