The City of Shawnee is asking residents to participate in a comprehensive community survey, known as the National Citizen SurveyT (NCST). The survey is designed to provide a baseline of how the city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of the city and to make comparisons with peer cities. A random and scientific sample of 2,200 households will receive invitations to participate in the mail and their confidential responses will be weighted and analyzed.
Postcards were mailed on November 16 to randomly selected households notifying them that they were selected to participate in the survey. The surveys will arrive in late-November and should be submitted by late December. All responses are completely anonymous.
