Watch out world, the Shawnee Fire Clowns will be on the loose during Fire Prevention Week, October 7th through October 11th teaching young and old alike how to be safe in case of fire. The clowns continue the tradition this year of trying to teach every child in local schools fire safety and a fun and crazy way.
Be sure and attend the public performance on Thursday, October 10th at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center and be entertained and educated.
This year's crew consist of seven Shawnee firefighters. Joe Henry Billy, Nick Auld Chase', Bert Laxson Uncle Pi, Richard Stevenson Scooter, Chip Shepperd Crash, Jim Ogle Ogie, and Mark Simpson as the sound guy.
