Veterans Day Observance Ceremony

On Saturday November 11th at 11:00 am there will be a short Observance Ceremony for Veterans Day at the Veterans Memorial in Woodland Veterans Park.<br>
All who wish to attend are welcome to come.

Pie Baking Contest

November 11th - Pie Bake Off<br>
Bring your best pie to the Shawnee Community Center (804 S Park Avenue) by 1:00pm. All entries must be registered ahead of time. Contest will begin @ 1:30pm. Winners will be announce @ 3:30pm. Must be present to win. CASH PRIZES.<br>

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Event

This event is a free and easy drop-off for household hazardous waste (excluding commercial waste) brought to you by a partnership between the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, The City of Shawnee, The Absentee Shawnee Tribe and Central Disposal. This event on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10am to 2pm is open to City of Shawnee residents and members of participating tribes. Please follow the link for more information.
