Christmas Parade Replay Nightly at 6pm

The Shawnee Downtown Christmas Parade from December 4th, 2014 as organized by Save Events for Families will replay nightly at 6pm - 7pm on local cable Ch3 and streaming at http://www.ShawneeOK.org/Live for your viewing unless preempted by other broadcasts such as City Commission Meetings. If you missed the live parade or want to learn more about the parade entries and activities catch up from the podium view.

City Commission Tasks Justin Erickson for Interim City Manager Duties

Mr. Erickson has been the Citys Community Development Director since August 2008 and will fill in as the Manager until a replacement is found by the City Commission.

The Commission also discusses the future process of searching for a new Manager in this meeting.

Recently, you may have noticed a taste, color or odor change to your tap water. This is due to changing percentages of water being used from our water sources. This can create short term quality issues with our water supply.<br>

SMA staff, want to assure you that your water is safe for consumption, and are making every effort to alleviate current concerns. SMA does not anticipate the conditions to last much longer. Staff are consistently treating/testing the City's water supply to meet or exceed ODEQ and EPA standards.<br>
